We offer a newly built, traditional style cottage on the Orkney Island of Hoy. If you are looking to get away from it all you could not hope for a more peaceful and relaxing holiday by the seashore. Far away from the bustle of town life, you can enjoy the wildflowers and bird life nearby in an environment that is safe to let children run free.
There are also many activities to take part in - Hoy is the most dramatic of all the Orkney Islands and has Orkney's tallest hill - Ward Hill. From the summit you can see all of Orkney's Islands, except the nearest, and on a really clear day you can see all the way to Fair Isle. There's much to interest those interested in bird watching and navel history as well - much of the island is a RSPB reserve and a museum dedicated to the World War History of Scapa Flow is located at Lyness. We are also within walking distance to Martello Tower. Take a look at our About Hoy page for information on all the attractions on Hoy.
