Welcome to Rickla, Orkney’s only 5 star serviced accommodation.
Rickla is a new house, built alongside the remains of an old croft of the same name. Through our land flows the Burn of Rickla: the name is obviously very old but we have so far been unable to determine it's origin. The present Rickla was built by Jacky & Stewart Anderson in 1995 and designed from the start to provide high-class b&b accommodation for those to whom comfort, privacy, seclusion, peace and quiet are essential.
The ground-floor guest wing has it's own entrance and contains the two en-suite bedrooms. One room has a king-size double bed, while the other can have either twin beds or a super-king bed and all have duvets and electric blankets. Each bedroom is fully equipped - amenities include TV, radio-alarm, refreshment tray, mini-fridge, spare bedding, easy chairs, hair dryers and bathrobes, for your privacy, both bedrooms are designed so that they share no common walls: you have no neighbours beside or above you.
Each bedroom also has it's own private sun-lounge, furnished with easy chairs, wide screen TV, video, Bose CD/radio and a coffee-table.
