Welcome to Kenila, where you'll be sure of a warm Orcadian welcome during your stay in our modern, comfortable house. Kenila is ideally situated amongst rolling countryside in Orkney's West Mainland and offers magnificent views over the nearby Harray Loch and the distant hills of Hoy.
Kenila is situated at the heart of Harray, 9 miles from Stromness and 11 miles from Kirkwall, making it an excellent central location for visiting many of Orkney's renowned attractions such as Kitchener's Memorial, Brough of Birsay and the Stone Age attractions of Skara Brae, Maes Howe and Ring of Brodgar. For those looking for a relaxing holiday with rod and reel, the Harray Loch offers the best free trout fishing in Britain and is just under a mile away.
Our accommodation comprises of 1 double room with a private bathroom, 1 single and 1 family room, both of which are en suite. We have a guest lounge with a television where guests can relax after a day's sight seeing, fishing, walking or exploring Orkney's rich and varied past. There is also a dining area with tea and coffee making facilities. We also offer you a 24 hour laundry service, an iron and ironing board are also available. For the children there are toys inside and an outside play area.
