Anchor cottage, a traditional, yet modern cottage with 4 bedrooms is available for self catering holiday lets. Ideally located in the centre of this tranquil island with beautiful, fascinating sea-views. Anchor Cottage sleeps up to 7 persons.
Sanday is a romantic island, part of a unique group of 70 islands which comprise the Orkney archipelago – a magical group of islands – rich in history and wild-life - offering peace and quiet and the opportunity to escape the rigours of modern city life.
You can escape to the beautiful beaches, offering panoramic views and long stretches of unspoilt white sand and dunes.
There are excellent sea-views from both sides of the cottage and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets during the summer evenings.
There is a wild-life ranger on the island. Fishing on local lochs is available and there is a small golf course.
The cottage, situated in Lady Village at the centre of Sanday Island is 1.5 miles from the airfield and 8 miles from the ferry terminal at Loth.
